Weight Watchers Jello Pudding Fluff

You may have noticed by now that we love Jello.  It may seem strange to some of you, but it is a staple here in good ol’ Utah!  I love this recipe because you can serve it as a side dish or dessert!

Weight Watchers Jello Pudding Fluff

  • 1 (16 ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 (1 ounce) package fat free instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 (.3 ounce) package sugar free orange jello
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 1 (16 ounce) can mandarin oranges (drained)


  1. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the Cool Whip, pudding mix and jello mix until smooth.  
  2. Fold in crushed pineapple and mandarin oranges and mix until combined.  
  3. Chill in refrigerator until serving.

  1. I have never had this with the pudding mix. I make it with cottage cheese, well drained, and the rest of your ingredients. The only way I will eat cottage cheese. I mix my jello and pineapple together first it seems to dissolve better that way for me. Fold in the Cool-Whip last. Thanks for another take on this staple.
          • Our website has been updated a few times since this recipe was originally posted back in 2013. Last we knew it was 2 points per serving - 10 servings from this recipe.             I feel like they shouldn't be required to post the Weight Watchers Points per recipe .. also, weight watchers has changed and some of this stuff would be considered no points, so you would only need to calculate the points based off the ingredients that have a points total. For example, the fruit in this would be '0' points with the new freestyle mix as would the Sugar Free Jell-O powder and the sugar/fat free pudding powder. The only points would be based off the cool whip you choose to use. My suggestion would be to add up the points for the amount of Cool Whip you choose to use and then divide that number based on how many servings you make out of the recipe.
  2. Isn't Jello wonderful! There has to be 1000's of different recipes, but the " Weight Watchers Jello Pudding Fluff" is one of the easiest I have ever seen! And looks and sounds so good! Since I have problems standing any length of time it is great to see something so fast to make! Thank you, Six Sisters! Years ago my Aunt always made a recipe from the back of a "Libby's" fruit cocktail can from at least the 1940's to 1950's. Have never found it since! It had Lime jello dissolved in hot water (I presumed with 1 cup water) in a blender; cream cheese, I think some mayonaise possibly, and the can of fruit cocktail added I presume when the mixture cooled. She always made it for Thanks Giving. Would love to find this recipe again. Maybe you can help!? (I have looked for years for it!)

    As far as the calories go; I would imagine that would be easy enough to figure out. Take the total calories off the back of each can of fruit, jello, pudding mix, and cool whip. Add those calories all together and divide by 10. (She said the recipe serves 8-10). Figure out how much 1 serving is equal to, 1/2 cup or what? Then multiply the calories per serving x the number of servings YOU are putting into your mouth. Easy enough.
  4. I have been loving this recipe for a long time now and cannot seem to get anyone to tell me what a serving size is. Is a serving 1 cup or a 1/2 cup? I know that the whole recipe is 10 servings. I make it with a large box of vanilla pudding, 1.5 oz ( fat free, sugar free) and an 8oz tub of free cool whip and I 20oz can of crushed pineapple in its own juice. I am distressed to continue having this great tasting dessert without knowing the serving size and points value. Any help out there? Thanks.
  5. I couldn't find this recipe on the weight watchers website or app to track the points. So I created the recipe in the app off of this one and it showed that 1 serving was 10 points not 2. I'm hoping I had just done something wrong. Can you let me know what it is named in the app so I can track it from that one. Has anyone else came across this issue?
  6. For those who say it doesn’t set.. drain the oranges. I’ve never made this without doing that and it always sets beautifully. Don’t know the points and don’t care regarding that matter. For those who want a more natural recipe, there are jellos that are all natural such as “simply delish” brand.
