Snowberry Steamer

After my first long, cold Logan winter as a Freshman at Utah State University, I discovered one thing that helped ease those below freezing temperatures: Kneaders Snowberry Steamers. Seriously – I probably had three a week. They just warm you up from the inside out! After getting to know all the Kneaders workers by name after the solid 8 months of winter (okay, that’s a bit exaggerated) – they finally told me what was in it. White chocolate, Raspberry, and Hazelnut. It’s a combination made in heaven! I finally recreated it at home, and it was a TOTAL success. Now you can enjoy these delicious steamers in the comfort of your own home, too. 🙂

Snowberry Steamer

This snowberry steamer is one of my all-time favorite drinks! With raspberries and white chocolate plus the taste , it makes me want winter all year round!!

  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup raspberries (I used frozen, but you can use fresh, too)
  • 2 cups milk (I used vanilla almond milk)
  • Hazelnut syrup, to taste (I used Torani brand)
  • Whipped cream- optional topping


  1. In a medium saucepan on medium-low heat, stir together the white chocolate chips and raspberries until they have melted together.
  2. Add in the milk and stir until you can start to see steam rise from the milk.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir in the Hazelnut syrup.
  4. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
  5. Serve immediately.


I topped mine with whipped cream, silver sprinkles, and more raspberries.

  1. Hi, I love steamers and was so excited to try this delightful recipe. I made it twice and both times the white chocolate part of the melted mixture turned to white clumps when the milk was added. Any thoughts as to why? I used fresh berries and 1% milk.

    I just found this recipe. After a cold day outside, I was looking forward to warming up with this wonderful drink. I melted my chocolate chips in the microwave, added the raspberries and mixed well. I then added this mixture to my pan of milk and heated just to steaming on the stove. Since I don't care for hazelnut I added almond flavoring. Delicious! Thanks for sharing.
