Snickers Brownie Trifle Recipe



Barbecue season is just around the corner!  I love serving trifle at parties or gatherings because it is easy to make and can usually feed a crowd.  It doesn’t get much easier or delicious than this Snickers Brownie Trifle!

Snickers Brownie Trifle Recipe

Layers of brownie, caramel cream and Snickers make a dessert that everyone will love!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. brownie mix, prepared according to package directions
  • 1 (16 ounce) container Cool Whip
  • 1 (14 ounce) jar caramel syrup
  • 6 full-size Snickers candy bars
  • chocolate syrup, for topping
  • caramel syrup, for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare brownies according to package directions for a 9x13-inch baking dish. Let cool and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine Cool Whip and caramel syrup until well combined; set aside.
  3. Cut candy bars into small pieces; set aside.
  4. In a glass bowl or trifle bowl, layer 1/3 of the Cool Whip mixture, 1/2 brownie pieces, and 1/3 candy bars.
  5. Repeat layers.
  6. Drizzle chocolate and caramel syrup on top, if desired.

Notes

Make earlier in the day and store in the refrigerator before serving.

    • We have made it the morning of and it's been ok. I worry about the night before and part of the next day before eating. You don't want everything to get soggy and run together. You could easily make the brownies the night before and after they are cooled cut into bite sized pieces and store in an airtight container. The next morning/day all you have to do is assemble the layers which you could do in 5-10 minutes. Hope this helps.
