Reese’s Brownies

If you know of a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup fan, or are one yourself, you may want to stop what you are doing and make these Reese's Brownies. I like them better than the actual candy. They are so yummy, rich, and easy to make.

If you love chocolate and peanut butter, then these are the brownies for you.
The brownie batter is loaded with peanut butter, the frosting is so creamy because of the added cream cheese, and the tops of the brownies are covered in all my favorite things. For chocolate and peanut butter lovers around the world, it doesn’t get any better than these.
They are quick, simple, delicious, and so easy to make.
If you know a Reese’s fan, you may want to send them this recipe. Better yet, make them yourself, and experience these life changing brownies for yourself.
And if you end up keeping the entire pan for yourself, we won’t tell a soul.

what is an ingredient to substitue whipping cream?

This recipe calls for whipping cream. This is found in the dairy section of your grocery store, right by the milk.

However, if you do not have whipping cream, or don’t have it on hand, you could use milk instead. We highly recommend using a higher percentage of milk, or a whole milk, if you do choose to use milk over whipping cream.

It will be thinner than whipping cream, and may cause a small difference in texture, but you should be fine.

do these freeze well?

These brownies do freeze quite well. They are better fresh, but I have frozen them, and they thaw nicely.

We recommend freezing them in an airtight container.

To thaw them, we recommend removing them from the freezer the night before serving or at least 8 hours before you plan to serve them. We highly discourage microwaving them. It will melt the frosting and the chocolate, while keeping the middle of the brownie frozen.

These will last nicely in the freezer for about two weeks. We do not recommend freezing them for longer than that.

Made these brownies this past weekend for a party and they were a hit! Will definitely be making these again. Did have to bake for 30 min vs the 22-25 to that they were more set uo instead of gooey; I normally only need to bake at the minimum time given.
