Pumpkin Hershey’s Kiss Cookies
There are few things I love as much as baking in the Fall. When the weather starts getting cooler, all I want to do is get cozy in some sweat pants and eat warm, yummy treats. These cookies are perfect for that! 🙂

Grandma’s Pumpkin Snickerdoodles and these babies were born!
Pumpkin Hershey's Kiss Cookies
These pumpkin cookies are so soft and delicious. The chocolate kiss just puts them over the top!

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter 1/2 cup shortening 1 cup white sugar 2/3 cup light brown sugar 3/4 cup pumpkin puree 1 large egg 4 cups flour 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice Additional sugar for rolling 60 Hershey kisses
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a large bowl, cream together butter, shortening, sugar and brown sugar. Mix in pumpkin puree and egg. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice. Add dry ingredients to pumpkin mixture. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and roll in additional sugar. Place dough on ungreased cookie sheets and bake for 7-9 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove from the oven and gently press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie. Let cool completely.
