I am trying to only make desserts on Sunday’s to maintain my girlish figure, so I make sure to make something that looks REALLY good. Something full of sugar that will keep my sugary tastebuds satisfied until the following Sunday.
I came across this recipe at Our Best Bites, who actually got it from Cooking Light Magazine, so I didn’t feel too bad about this dessert. These brownies were so good.
They came together quickly, and I served them with a school of Vanilla ice cream and was in heaven.
The bad news is, now that I’ve had a taste, I don’t ever want to live a day without tasting these delicious
bad boys. We’ll see if I can make it till Tuesday. It’s Monday.
make it more chocolatey
I love chocolate. To me, there is no such thing as too much chocolate. You know how in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the pond of chocolate? That is what my dreams are made of. I like the boys approach where he goes in hands and head first. No cup, no spoon, just my mouth and chocolate.
If you are wanting to make these more chocolatey, you could definitely add more. Here is what we recommend:
- Chocolate chips in the batter
- Drizzle hot fudge over the batter in the pan, then bake.
- M & M’s
- Candy bar bits (we recommend Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Kit Kats, Snickers, Twix, Milky Ways, Butterfingers, etc.).
We also love serving these brownies with ice cream. It’s fun to top the ice cream off with some other chocolate toppings, or caramel sauce. My dad loves to put fresh fruit, such as raspberries, strawberries, and bananas on his.
Either way, it’s going to be delicious and full of chocolatey, peanut butter flavor.
