I think Santa might even prefer this recipe over cookies.
where can i find the candy eyes?
The candy eyes are usually found on the sprinkle aisle. I have never had a problem finding them at any grocery store. They are all around and so easy to find.
If you just happen to not find them, be sure to ask an employee. If they are sold out, you could also use black frosting, and draw dots, for eyes.
You could also use mini brown M & M’s. I prefer the candy eyes, because they are so cute, and look especially great with this recipe.
what could I use for the nose instead of an orange sprinkle?
If you are looking for a sprinkle nose alternative, we have a few ideas for you. I couldn’t specifically find orange sprinkles, I had to buy a colorful sprinkle container and pick them out.
However, here are a few ideas that would work just as well:
-Mini orange M & M’s
-Orange gel or frosting
-Rolled up orange airhead
-Orange pull and peel licorice
-Orange Star bursts, cut and rolled into small pieces
