Jamaican Jerk Chicken with Mango Salsa

A few weekends ago my family and I went to a cabin with some of our friends. We all take turns making a meal for each other. My friend make this Jamaican Jerk Chicken and it was delicious! My husband requested that I make it again.

  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Jerk seasoning
  • 2 Tablespoons red onion, diced
  • 2 mangoes, diced
  • 2 Tablespoons cilantro, diced
  • 2 Tablespoons¬†lime juice
  • 3 cups cooked rice


  1. Season your chicken with jerk seasoning and grill until cooked through.
  2. In a bowl combine the mangoes, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice; mix well.
  3. When the chicken is done cooking, place the salsa over the cooked rice, then put the chicken on top.

  1. What is in the "jerk seasoning" or where can I find it? I would love to try this. I have made something similar but with store bought seasoning marinade and I would like to make my own without all the preservatives in it. Thank you
