Homemade Everything But the Bagel Seasoning

Everything Bagel Seasoning has been trending for a while and let me tell you, this seasoning is EVERYTHING, pun intended!

It tastes amazing on just about everything, there really is no better flavor combination!

I don’t live anywhere near a Trader Joe’s, which is where most people were finding this amazing blend of seasonings.

I found a bulk sized version at Costco and guess what? We finished it. Probably the only thing from Costco we actually used up before it went bad with just the two of us.

I decided it would be much easier to just make my own version at home so we could have it anytime we wanted!

What’s in the everything bagel seasoning

Here’s the blend of amazing spices and seasonings in our copycat Everything Bagel Seasoning! Pretty simple!

  • Sesame seeds
  • Poppyseeds
  • Dried minced onion
  • Dried minced garlic
  • Sea salt

What do I put Everything Bagel Seasoning On?

You can put this seasoning on almost everything! Here are a few things we like to sprinkle it on!

Eggs: Poached, scrambled, fried, or hard boiled! Everything seasoning goes great with eggs.

Roasted Vegetables: My favorite roasted vegetables with this seasoning are broccoli and cauliflower. Drizzle your vegetables with olive oil, top with our Everything Bagel mix and roast for 25 minutes at a high temperature for delicious and perfectly roasted veggies.

Avocado Toast: A breakfast of champions! Try this seasoning on your avocado toast for breakfast or for a snack with a great flavor. If you don’t like avocado toast, this seasoning goes great on guacamole too!

Chicken: Top your favorite chicken recipe for a sweet flavor. This is a great way to change up your usual go-to!

Salmon/Halibut: Like we said, it’s amazing on EVERYTHING! Add this to your fish of choice with some butter and you’ll have a new favorite way to cook your sea food.

Dinner Rolls: Have a favorite homemade bread? Or extra frozen rolls in the freezer? Top the dough before baking with some of this seasoning and completely change your bread game!

Potatoes: Sprinkle some seasoning over your mashed, roasted, or baked potatoes.

I saw one of your instant pot videos that you cooked WHOLE HEAD of cauliflower and sprinkled dry ranch powder on it . You said it was a favorite of yours. I went out and bought a cauliflower but can’t find the complete recipe on you tube . Please email recipe because I want to cook it before it goes bad.
