Grandma’s Frappe

This frappe has been a family tradition for years – my grandma used to make it every Christmas and New Year’s Eve for as long as my dad can remember.  It is always a huge hit at every party and brings back so many memories for us!  The ingredients are simple and it can be thrown together in a matter of minutes. Happy holidays!

  • 1.5 quarts vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
  • 1.5 quarts of raspberry sherbet, slightly softened
  • 1 (2 liter) bottle lemon-lime soda

  1. Scoop the ice cream and sherbet into a large punch bowl.
  2. Slowly pour in the soda and stir gently. Let mixture sit 5 minutes to melt just a bit.
  3. Stir again to blend the ice creams together. There will be some ice cream chunks in the drink - but the chunks make it taste even better!
