Fresh Pesto Pizza

Pizza is a staple food in my family. We usually have it on Fridays because by the end of the week I’m not about to cook anything. With my trying to eat healthier… I decided to make pizza this week instead of getting “Take Out.”
Not only is it healthier… it has fresh ingredients that taste amazing together. If you like pizza, and pesto… you are going to LOVE this!

  • 3 (6-8") flat breads
  • 1/2 cup pesto
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup deli turkey, cut into small pieces
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 10 basil leaves


  1. Preheat oven to 350. Place the flat bread on a large baking sheet.
  2. Spread the pesto sauce on each one. Next add your cheese and as many tomatoes as you like along with small pieces of deli turkey. Add a few basil leaves on top.
  3. Place in the oven and cook for 5-7 minutes or until cheese melts and basil leaves are wilted.
