Easy Healthy Lunch Wrap

I am always on the lookout for simple, healthy, and delicious meals, I know my family will eat. These Easy Healthy Lunch Wraps are full of flavor and have the most amazing taste to them. They are great for meal prepping, or for a large snack, on those really hungry days.

Lunch sometimes is a hassle at our house. My little girls are so sick of sandwiches (although I could eat them for every meal) and it is hard to find a healthy alternative that they will eat.

I came across a wrap recipe and changed it so it would only take me a couple minutes to through together.

what toppings would be good on this wrap?

I am a huge topping person. Especially if I can sneak vegetables into my diet, without eating them plain, I am one happy girl. Here are a few of my favorite additions:

  1. Lettuce
  2. Spinach
  3. Sprouts
  4. Cucumber Slices (sliced very thin
  5. Carrot Shreds
  6. Celery (sliced very thin)
  7. Olive Slices
  8. Banana Peppers
  9. Avocado

what sauce would be good on this wrap?

My husband and I are huge sauce people. We put sauce on our sauce, and all food needs to have sauce.

This recipe has so much going on, that it really doesn’t need sauce. However, if you are like us, you will probably still put sauce on it. Here is what we recommend:

-Cilantro Lime Ranch
-Blue Cheese Dressing
-Plain Greek Yogurt
-Honey Mustard
-Barbecue Sauce
-Italian Dressing
-Chipotle Mayo

Easy Healthy Lunch Wrap Recipe

  • 6 Spinach wraps (or large tortillas)
  • 1/2 cup light mayo (or light miracle whip)
  • 2 teaspoons mild taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded lowfat Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 pound sliced deli turkey
  • 1 tomato (diced)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce


  1. Mix mayo and seasoning mix together in a small bowl
  2. Spread evenly on each tortilla.
  3. Then layer each tortilla with cheese, turkey, tomatoes, and lettuce evenly on each one.
  4. Leave about 2 inches at one side covered with only the spread.
  5. Roll up each tortilla starting with the layered turkey and ending with the 2 inch side with just the spread so it will stay secure.

    It's easy to get sick of sandwiches for lunch all the time. Maybe we should try a turkey wrap like this. It would give us something new to try and it has quite a few veggies. I've eaten wraps at restaurants, so it would be fun to try to make it myself for once. Here's hoping we like this recipe.
