Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken

Camille gave me this recipe and it has been saved on my phone forever so I thought I should put it on here so I have it saved somewhere!  We all love this and it is so easy!

Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken

  • 1 c. soy sauce
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 6 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts


  1. Put in pot all together over medium heat until boiling. 
  2. Place 4-6 frozen chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot. 
  3. Pour sauce mixture over chicken in crock pot.  Cook on low for 6-8 hours. 
  4. Serve over rice.

  1. I made this a couple nights ago and we all loved it! I really appreciated how fast and easy it was to get started, and I enjoyed smelling it all day. When my sons got home from school, they walked in the door, stopped in their tracks and asked "What smells so good?!" One of my sons is a very choosy eater, and he devoured his chicken! My other son likes a lot of foods, but generally doesn't like the shredded consistency of meat from a slow cooker. He also ate all of his chicken! The chicken could've been shredded, but it held together enough that I could cut it into bite size pieces too. This is definitely a recipe I'll add to my rotation! I used about 8-10 frozen thighs, because that's what I had and they turned out tender and absolutely delicious!
