could i use chicken instead of tuna?

I love how versatile this recipe it, because you can with out the tuna, for any shredded meat, if you are not a fish or tuna fan.

My favorite is using canned chicken with this recipe. All the other ingredients stay the same, but just add chicken instead of tuna.

I find the canned chicken works the best, because it almost has the same consistency of tuna. And don’t worry, once you get all the flavors together, you won’t be able to tell the chicken is from a can.

You could also use shredded turkey for this recipe, as well. I personally prefer the tuna or chicken, but any would be delicious.

what could I replace the mayo with?

This recipe does call for mayo, because of the flavor, however, if you are looking for a healthier alternative, we have an idea for you.

I like to use Greek yogurt in place of the mayo. My husband also prefers this, because it is full of protein, and has a unique flavor to it.

I personally like the flavor of the mayo better, but this recipe is just as delicious with the Greek yogurt.
