  1. I made this last night and it was just awful..Followed the recipe to the tee and I also have to agree with Rhonda, It was very rubbery not even close to a brownie, cake or even a banana bread. And the taste was very bland. Hate wasting good food but this one went into the garbage, But if ya don't try something new you would be stuck making the same old stuff. Love the picture though!
  2. I had planned on making these, then got worried after reading some bad reviews. But, I've yet to meet a Six Sister recipe I didn't like, so onward I went with my baking. I am glad I did; they were delish. They were definitely dense, as warned. I wouldn't call them "rubbery", however. 1-1/2 c. banana was four bananas for me, not three. If someone were to just use three without measuring, (all depends on the size of the banana too) that could change the amount of banana flavor that is present. Now here is where I changed it up a bit: I used, instead of milk chocolate chips, some semi-sweet (it was what I had) and some...wait for it...peanut butter chips!! Who doesn't love peanut butter and bananas?! I definitely recommend trying that! I will make again sometime. Now, off to make the chocolate mint brownies! :-)
  3. Delicious! The aroma permeating from my kitchen yesterday morning drew everyone into the kitchen for a family breakfast. It is the perfect amount of sweetness, chocolate, and bananas. Love your site! I posted a link to the recipe on my blog:
