Brown Sugar Fruit Dip

I absolutely love fruit dip, especially when it only has a few ingredients – like our Creamy Fruit Dip. The other night, my husband was working late for school, so I got all my friends together for a girls’ night. We spent the evening chatting about everything under the sun, watching Drop Dead Diva (I can’t get enough of that show right now!), and sharing delicious treats. One of my friends brought over this Brown Sugar Fruit Dip, and we licked the whole bowl clean!! I don’t feel as bad eating a little bit of dip, because it means I’m getting in my “fruit servings” for the day!

This brown sugar fruit dip only needs 3 ingredients and can be thrown together in a matter of minutes!  I started with a block of softened cream cheese, some brown sugar and then added some vanilla extract.

I creamed all of the ingredients together using my hand mixer until it was smooth.  That’s it!  So easy!  The hardest part is washing and cutting up some fruit to dip it in!

I sprinkled a little extra brown sugar on top for garnish, and who doesn’t like more brown sugar?!

We ate it with strawberries, apples, and bananas, but it would really taste good with any fruit!  My kids even love to dip graham crackers in it!

This dip is really fun to make at a family gathering. Just put the ingredients in a thick freezer ziplock and let the kids pass it around a knead it together. Especially good to do in a Family Home Evening Lesson or while playing a game. Everyone has a good time mixing it in the plastic bag. Then just plop everything in a bowl. They all feel like they "made" the dip, and love to eat it up.
