Broccoli and Cheese Chicken Pasta Recipe:
1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti noodles
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups shredded, cooked chicken breast (I used a rotisserie chicken from the deli)
1 head of broccoli florets, steamed
Prepare noodles according to package directions, drain and set aside.  In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.  Whisk in flour, salt and pepper, until combined.  Whisk in chicken broth and milk until smooth.  Stir in cheese until melted.  Transfer cooked noodles to a large pot over low heat.  Add chicken, broccoli and cheese sauce.  Serve immediately.
*If you reheat your pasta and the sauce is too thick, add a little milk to loosen the sauce.

    • Not sure what happened. We were worried about it being to thick and that's why we added the note about adding more milk if necessary. Did it thicken up when you melted your butter then added the flour, salt and pepper with the chicken broth and milk? That should thicken up for you with the flour added to it. Sorry it didn't work out. -The Six Sisters
